Draw the Flag

How well do you remember the flags of the world? Draw 24 country flags from memory with supplied colors, compare your artwork with the original, and get a match percentage. Choose Easy, Medium, Hard, or Extreme.

How to play

Choose a difficulty: Easy has familiar, simple flags; Medium adds crosses and proportions; Hard has recognizable flags with intricate details; Extreme combines less familiar countries with complex layouts. Use the supplied color palette and paint the whole flag, including its background. Use Brush, Rectangle, Ellipse, or Eraser; Fill canvas paints a background in one click. Undo, redo, and clear let you refine your drawing. Select Complete & compare to reveal the original flag and your approximate match percentage, based on color placement and overlap for each color. Try again or move to the next country. Difficulty is an editorial mix of complexity and recognition. Flag artwork is bundled locally from Flagpedia / Wikimedia Commons.

Keyboard: focus the drawing canvas and move the cursor with arrow keys. Hold Shift for larger steps. Press Space or Enter to paint. Ctrl/Command + Z undoes; add Shift to redo. The color, tool, and fill buttons are keyboard accessible. Artwork: Flagpedia.net / Wikimedia Commons.
